cheese pizza

larger than its name suggests, so much grease here you half expect john travolta and olivia newton-john to pop out, but i can't complain, as it results from the absurdly awesome amount of lightning-hot, nearly pourable cheese on the thick, soft, chewy crust that's inauthentic but strangely appealing.

fried cheese ravioli

are straightforward and well-executed. the frying is perfect, and while i wouldn't mind a touch of mozzarella to mix up the ricotta inside, it's still a comfort-food success.

the italian sub

perhaps the best deal of all, presenting salami and mortadella in a sturdy, crusty, thoroughly respectable roll. cold cuts are basic, to be sure, but are bolstered by what's easily one of the best italian dressings i've encountered. there's a great balance, the oil taking the lead and the red wine vinegar supporting, each enhanced exponentially by a dense sprinkling of herbs.

wings

are of ample size but don't retain much crispness. i order these as spicy as they come, but the sauce is on the sweet side, almost like a synthesis of hot sauce and bbq sauce; in addition, there's a somewhat off-putting viscosity.
