the tortellacci is one of luna rossa's more meticulously created cuisines. due to convenience, most wraps served by italian restaurants nowadays are made from conventional mix flour, a common item in everyone's kitchen. the tortellacci is filled with red wine braised beef short ribs and shaved black truffle in alfredo sauce. the short rib filling is grilled for well over 10 hours; the process in all takes several days to complete, but the end product is incomparable to anything else.

gnocchi al ragu

as a big fan of italian cuisine and having tried hundreds of different types of gnocchi in the past, i proudly make this next proclamation: luna rossa serves the best gnocchi in the entire country. gnocchi for those whom have never had it is the "italian dumpling" sans the filling. it is a light entrée that produces light, heavenly bites with each spoonful. it's one food you have to try to understand.
